Building Strong Foundations for Bright Futures
Our founder and Executive Director, Angela Spencer, has 9 years of experience working with children with autism and other developmental needs. She received her Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education from Georgia State University and spent two years as an autism teacher in Gwinnett County Public Schools before focusing on her clinical career. Wanting to make a greater impact, she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide individualized, evidence-based support to children and families.
My Mission
I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential with the right support. Through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, I help children develop essential communication, social, and daily living skills while fostering confidence and independence. My approach is compassionate, family-centered and tailored to each child's unique needs.
Why I Started Southern Roots ABA
I founded Southern Roots ABA to bring high-quality, individualized, services directly to families in a setting where children feel most comfortable. I also prioritize collaboration with parents and caregivers, ensuring that families feel empowered and supported every step of the way.
Let's Work Together
If you're looking for dedicated, compassionate support for your child, I would love to connect and see how I can help your family!
